I was very pleased with job done by Ivar. He was on time, courteous, and professional. My couch was ripped and quite worn, the repair work was excellent.

We hired Ivar to repair our leather sofa and reclining chair. Our leather furniture was damaged from a shoe that has rubbed the finish off. The leather was also faded where we were sitting, much lighter in color. We were amazed how the furniture was restored back to a look-like-new set. Ivar did superior work, we would highly recommend his company.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. I had 2 large leather couches and 2 large leather chairs. These where high quality leather. They are 17 years old. I have English bulldogs who have over the years, slept on, chewed on and scratched on these pieces. They had wear spots, tears and holes. I called Ivar to try and get an extra 6 months out of these pieces. We are moving and I was going to buy new furniture when we moved. My wife let them in and the rest is magic. I came home from work to find new furniture or at least it looked new. No worn areas, no holes, re-stuffed, clean and beautiful. This furniture would have cost $ 8-10k to replace. They did everything for $ 600.00

We have a leather bound coffee table that was very worn around the edges after years of kids’ and husband’s feet where they don’t belong. Ivar did a great job at restoring it to practically new. It’s hard to believe that it’s the same table. I would highly recommend him for any leather restoration project!

I had a leather couch that had small scratches and gouges in one of the cushions as well as one of the arm rests. Ivar did a very nice job of repairing the damage. He did an excellent job of matching the color so that the previous damage is practically undetectable. They were also very courteous in their service and reasonable in their pricing.

The Repairman, Ivar Vankemenade came on time, worked his magic and I was able to leave promptly for work. My ten-year-old leather sofa cushion where I have spent my “woman cave” time looks very good again indeed. Thank you

I was very impressed with the level of impeccable customer service from Ivar. My couches were over 10 years old, dry, and worn from my dog sitting on them. Something wasn’t right on the first application of the re-dye. I called Ivar and he was so polite and willing to make the couches right. He apologized several times and thanked me for my patience. My couches look brand new now. I normally don’t write reviews however I felt Ivar deserved my time to state how impressed I am with the process and with Ivar’s care to satisfy his customer! He was also less expensive than two other companies I called for a quote!

We had wear damage and dog claw damage on our leather furniture. We were about to just buy new furniture and throw out the damaged pieces, when we saw Ivar’s ad. He came in and repaired all the problems and the pieces look like new, unbelievable.

We had a love seat that had some stitching come loose, the color was worn in the sitting areas, a puncture from the dogs nails, some scratches from the dogs and a black magic marker stain from our grandchild. Ivar was able to fix all our issues and made the love seat look like new. Since we were looking at new furniture until we came across his ad, he saved us thousands of dollars.
The love seat looks brand new and we are in the process of scheduling another piece for refurbishment.

Ivar Vankemenade did an outstanding job in refurbishing my leather furniture…looks like new. He accurately quoted the job, and delivered it in a timely fashion.

We have two leather sectionals that needed repair. Two & half sections of one were discolored & the leather looked like it was flaking. The other sofa needed the frame (back was already loose) and stitching fixed.
I called for a price quote & explained what the problems were. Ivar gave me an estimate for the work & made an appt. to come out & take a look at the sofas. He arrived promptly. He explained what he could do to restore the leather on one sofa. He said the other sofa needed to be brought to his shop to examine the loose frame & fix the stitching. The quote was fair & I made the appt. for him to do the work & take the other sofa to his shop.
To do the work, he arrived on time and repaired the seats and armrest in house. The leather repair made the sofa look like new. Ivar matched the color to the original. I am so glad I had the repair done. It looked brand new & the job didn’t take more than a couple of hours. Ivar did a terrific job. The other one had to be taken to his shop to be repaired. One week later the sofa was returned fixed.

We received several quotes, and selected Ivar. He contacted us the same day that I sent in a few pictures of our leather sofa, which was badly faded from our family dog. He sounded very knowledgeable, professional, and confident that he could fix our sofa. He came out today, and his results were incredible. Our sofa cushions look brand new, and he even perfectly matched the marbled finish in our leather. He also touched up a few minor wear marks on other sections of the sofa, for no additional charge. He is polite, professional, and meticulous in his work – and cleanup!
I highly recommend him. We had to pay a small additional travel fee, but it was well worth it. And, his price was equal or less than other quotes we received- and none of them spent any time discussing our specific needs.
